Wide Receiver – DeVante Parker

Another Louisville native, Parker was a highly recruited prospect coming out of Ballard High School. DeVante Parker has gone down as one of the most reliable and best play making receivers in program history. It always felt like if we needed to score, just throw it up to DeVante.

That’s exactly what Louisville did.

DeVante finished his career with 2,775 receiving yards and 33 touchdowns.

He was picked 14th overall to the Dolphins in 2015 and just signed a 2 year extension with the Dolphins.

We’ll never forget those awesome performances against UK every year, the Sugar Bowl performance, and the Russell Athletic Bowl performance.

This was pretty awesome too:

Cardinal Stadium was going absolutely ballistic that night. It was fun to finally be back.

Parker was a big help in bringing Louisville football back to prominence during the Charlie Strong years and was a major help in transitioning to the ACC with Petrino. Cards fans will forever be grateful to DeVante Parker for sticking with his hometown and bringing the program back.
