Louisville basketball looks to continue to up their recruiting game this weekend when elite shooting guard Adam Miller visits campus.

The 2020 class is an opportunity for Louisville basketball to strike gold on the recruiting trail and continue the Cardinals success from last season.

Louisville’s staff is in on a number of elite prospects, including guys like Earl Timberlake, Isaiah Jackson, Jaemyn Brakefield, Hunter Dickinson, Zach Loveday, and Jay Scrubb, among others.

The Cards are among the favorites to land the services of 5-6 four and five-star guys, which would once again land them among the nation’s elite recruiting classes and propel them towards another season full of high expectations in 2020.

Among the players that Louisville could still offer is Illinois guard Adam Miller, who visits Louisville over the weekend of June 14th-16th according to the Instagram of Adam Miller as well as Jake Weingarten of Rivals.com. The 6’3,” 170-pound Miller is rated as the No. 28 overall player in the 2020 class and the No. 5 overall shooting guard according to 247Sports composite rankings.

Miller is an extremely confident guard who makes everything he does look effortless. He is not a high-flying dunker or unbelievable athlete, but he is extremely quick and showcases excellent decision-making. When he has the ball in his hands, he’s going to get a bucket or create for his teammates. He is a solid shooter and looks to be better as a spot-up guy rather than someone who creates space to get free for a shot.

Of Miller’s game, Brian Snow of 247Sports said:

"Standing around 6-foot-3 and possessing good length, he has positional versatility on both ends of the floor. One of the better shooters from the guard position. Has good athleticism to complement that. Offensively he is best off the ball where he can be a catch-and-shoot guy that also attacks closeouts. On defense, he shows the ability to defend either guard spot physically and should project to be above-average on that end going forward."

Miller plays for Morgan Park High School in Chicago- the same school that gave the Cards former McDonald’s All-American Wayne Blackshear.

Miller projects to be a two-and-done type of guard with an extremely high upside. He would fit into Chris Mack’s mold because he is a tall, strong guard who can create for others and has a solid shot. He is a lefty, but he already demonstrates the ability to finish strong with both hands.

The Cards are in on a number of guards in the 2020 class, but Miller would bring excitement and versatility to the 2020-21 Louisville basketball roster.
