Kobe Baynes, offensive tackle, pledges to Louisville.

Louisville stayed hot the next day and continued to win big battles in the trenches by landing offensive lineman Kobe Baynes.

Though he isn’t a guy that is at the top of any rankings or even a big name in this class, though he is severely underrated, Kobe Baynes is a player who had scholarship offers from the who’s who of college football. Eventually, the rankings will catch up with Baynes, and you’ll probably see plenty more power five programs get involved in his recruitment.

Baynes had Florida State, South Carolina, Michigan, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Boston College all vying for his services and a number of other power five teams offering schollys.

This staff values big powerful, athletic, fast offensive lineman who can move as the offense does different things in the run game and Baynes is a perfect fit. He shows nice speed and ability to get to the next level in the run game and is also a stout pass protector.
