40: Samaki Walker

In his two years at Louisville, he averaged 14.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. He ranks 4th all-time in field goal percentage in a season (.617).

39: Earl Clark

E5 was a member of the 2009 Elite Eight club. His final season at Louisville he averaged 14.2 ppg., 8.7 rpg., 3.2 apg., and 1.4 bpg., and 1 spg. Clark had a nice touch and could elevate without issue.

38: Alvin Sims

Sims was one of the more important players of the 1990s. He is tied for 7th in all-time dunks and is fifth all-time in steals. He was a bully through the lane and was a really tough guard for average build defenders on the wing.

37: Montrezl Harrell

Trezl is the school’s all-time leader in dunks, with the ability to carve out space wherever he wanted and whenever he wanted. He was a rising star on the 2013 NCAA Championship team.

36: Phil Bond

Bond was on the 1975 Final Four team, being a trusted contributor. He was an ace distributing the ball, ranking 3rd all-time in career assists.

35: John Reuther

Reuther was a persistent scorer and rebound hound at Louisville, averaging 18.2 ppg. and 10.5 rpg. in his career. He ranks 4th in career scoring average and 9th in career rebounding average.

34: Don Goldstein

Goldstein was a member of the 1959 Final Four squad and averaged a double-double in points and rebounds in his last two seasons. He is the 12th all-time leader in career rebounds.

33: Luke Hancock

“Luuuuuuke” played at Louisville for two years, earning respect as a team captain and vocal leader on the floor. As a junior he went off in the 2013 NCAA Tournament, winning a championship and earning Tournament MOP honors.

32: Ellis Myles

Ellis was a beastly low-post player. The sixth all-time career rebounds leader started 110 games as a Cardinal, 37 of which in the 2005 Final Four season. He shot 51.7 percent from the field and 8 rebounds per game in his career.

31: Herbert Crook

Herb played on the 1986 NCAA title team and is the school’s tenth all-time leading scorer, 11th all-time rebounder, and #6 in career field goals made.
