VJ King- New York

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: VJ King is looking to prove the doubters wrong.

King is the player most fresh on every Cards fan’s minds. Though he has the least experience, he just may be the most talented player on this list.

Given his tough go of things at Louisville, a fresh start and a change of scenery could be exactly what King needed. He has the talent, size, and skill set to be a solid two or three guard in the league. Now, it’s about putting the past behind him and refocusing mentally.

On a Knicks squad that has absolutely imploded after putting all their chips on the table during free agency, King has at least a chance to do some damage and get into the conversation. He could be a guy who signs a two-way contract, and with the Knicks set to be a sub-.500 type of team yet again, King could get a chance to be called up at some point.

One thing is certain: King has all of the intangibles to be an NBA player. Louisville fans recognize that. Now the onus is fully on him to make something of his career. There’s not another player on this list that Cards fans will be pulling harder for over the next couple of weeks.
