Deng Adel- Houston

After a season where Deng Adel played well and eventually started three games for the Cavaliers, he finds himself on a summer league roster on a Houston team that is loaded at the guard spot.

Adel is certainly one of the better players on the Rockets summer league roster, but the depth that the organization has established at the two guard and small forward spots will be nearly impossible to break through. Gerald Green, Iman Shumpert, and Vincent Edwards are a solid trio off the bench already for the Rockets, and James Harden and Eric Gordon are two of the better backcourt players in the league.

Still, Adel could stand to benefit from this summer league action. If he shows continued improvement but doesn’t land on the Rockets roster, Adel could draw the attention of another squad who wants to sign him to a deal.
