Eleven | Jordan Nwora

Eleven is known as the “weirdo” of the group. The former outcast of the youngest cast of characters finds herself trying to become acclimated in a world where she has supernatural powers. Though she is kept for much of her life in secrecy, first by Hawkins National Laboratory, and in the later seasons by her adopted father, Hopper, she finds ways to balance everyday life while also being a “freak” of sorts.

In the same way, Jordan Nwora is the “freak” of the group of Cardinals for the 2019-20 season. Nwora is a gifted athlete who was relegated for much of his freshman year to the bench, but in season two, had a breakout season using his supernatural powers to get to the bucket with authority or spot up as a lethal shooter with unlimited range.

Nwora is the Eleven of the group because he is constantly finding ways to assimilate with the group. He spent a lot of time during season one on the bench due to struggles on defense but found his stride as the ACC’s most improved player by bringing ferocious rebounding and timely playmaking to the table.

After testing his skills in the NBA combine, Nwora decided to close up that portal for one more season where he will look to assimilate even more with his supporting cast.

Just as Eleven has to grapple with becoming a teenager and adjust to the realities of dealing with boys and various teenage dramas in season three, Nwora will have to adjust to the reality of the eyes of the college basketball world being on him. Nwora will look to improve his game and the lives of those around him in hopes of saving CardNation and going down as the hero in his final year.

Also, thank you Jordan for not telling Louisville fans “I dump your ass,” and instead saying to the ACC “I dunk your ass.”
