Malick Meiga

6’4, 190-pounds

Considering: Tennessee, Rutgers, Syracuse, Louisville

It’s not often that you see a Canadian recruit get the national attention that 2020 wide receiver Malick Meiga has been receiving this summer.

The Montreal, Quebec native has over 15 offers from Division one program including the likes of West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Syracuse, Baylor, Cincinnati, and of course, Louisville.

The number one player in the country of Canada has seen his recruitment take off this summer as he’s traveled around to different programs and exposure camps, and it’s not hard to see why. At 6’4, 190-pounds, Meiga has great size for the position and has incredible speed.

While he’s a bit raw as a prospect playing Canadian football rules, you can tell that there is real potential there, and Gunter Brewer and the Louisville staff have been on him over the last few months.

Meiga visited Louisville last month showing their is legitimate interest and could be back for an official visit this fall. In my mind, he is a guy that the Cards would be lucky to get and he ultimately could be the steal of the class.
