The depth chart

If the season started today, here’s how we think it could look:

OLB

PJ Blue

Allen Smith

ILB

C.J. Avery

Robert Hicks

ILB

Dorian Etheridge

Nick Okeke

Monty Montgomery

OLB

Yassir Abdullah

Rodjay Burns

Louisville will be shaking up the depth chart this season as the Cards transition from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4.

dark. Next. 5 defensive players with the most to prove in 2019

That means that there will be more linebackers on the field, and more team speed will come into play. The Cards will depend on some of their veterans from last season and look to more depth with some incoming freshman, a strong graduate transfer, and a few guys making position changes.
