Boston College

DJ: Boston College will be returning star returning back AJ Dillion. Louisville fans have memories of him running wild for 272 yards with four touchdowns last time he was at Cardinal Stadium. Louisville allowed 3327 yards on the ground last year, 4th most in the country. Boston college was 48th in the country in rushing offense. Until there’s a significant improvement on the defensive end, I expect a loss.

Louisville 31, Boston College 34 (2-3)

Will: After playing 5 games in a short 26 days, the Cards will have 2 weeks to regroup before Boston College invades Cardinal Stadium. UofL has lost its last 2 to the Golden Eagles, this year will go differently. Stopping star running back AJ Dillon will be more than a challenge. But I see a high scoring game, one in which the Cards emerge victorious. This will be the first conference win since 2017 and could really boost the morale of the entire program

Louisville 42, Boston College 38 (3-2)

Alan: The momentum of a three-game winning streak isn’t enough to compete in this track meet. Boston College’s stout o-line pummels Louisville upfront in a humbling outcome for Satterfield’s squad.

Louisville 13, Boston College 41 (3-2)

Presley: Boston College is a team that knows their identity, and they play their game. They have a ton of talent on offense at tight end and running back AJ Dillon is one of the early favorites in the ACC player of the year race. Defensively, the Eagles lose more than half of their starters and should be a bit more vulnerable than in years past.

BC head coach Steve Addazio acknowledged at the ACC Kick-off that 2018 is probably BC’s ceiling most years. They are content with competing for a bowl game, and games like theirs against Louisville are the deciding factor on whether or not they make it. The Cards are built to withstand the punches thrown by Boston College this season, and though Dillon is primed for another field day in Cardinal Stadium, it may not be enough to give BC the edge.

Louisville 38, Boston College 30 (3-2)

Ethan: Coming off a bye week and a tough loss, you can expect this Louisville squad to be poised and hungry for a win over a Boston College program that has surprisingly had Louisville’s number in the last few years. Louisville just simply hasn’t had an answer for star running back AJ Dillon. But Boston College lost a lot and won’t be as good this season. I think you can expect this to be Scott Satterfield’s first ACC home win.

Louisville 20, Boston College 16 (3-2)
