How did former Louisville football stars fare in week two of the NFL preseason?

While we wait for real football to begin, this past weekend we received another helping of the NFL preseason, which included another nice weekend for former Louisville football stars.

By my count, 28 former Cards took the field this weekend (with one playing this evening on Monday Night Football) and hoped to put all of the hard work from training camp onto the field against somebody that isn’t their own team.

Just like we did for week one of the NFL preseason, we’ve broken down each player into one of three categories, “The veterans,” “The youngsters,” and “Fighting to make the opening day 53-man roster,” and updated their statistical performance from the second week of action.

Last week guys like Lamar Jackson, Trevon Young, Teddy Bridgewater, Senorise Perry and Reggie Bonnafon stood out, with their respective performances in the opening weekend of the NFL preseason. Who stood out in week two?

Let’s take a look.
