The 25 players that could make or break Scott Satterfield’s first season as the Louisville football head coach. The question: – who will have the most impact on Louisville’s team this year? Let’s go.
My fiance walked into our house the other day, finding me sitting on the couch with our dog – her face bewildered as she glanced at the TV: “I didn’t realize Louisville football games were already happening” …. They’re not.
“So what game are you watching?” …. App State/Penn State on youtube.
“So an old game that isn’t Louisville. Why?” …. because now it’s football season.
After weathering the interrogative barrage of questions regarding the laundry which I may or may not have completed followed by a quick eye roll, one thing became clear to both of us:
Love it or hate it – It’s officially time to consume all things football.
Lists, rankings, predictions, hot takes, bad takes, all takes.
Kicking off the best season of the year, we compiled a unique top 25 list for the upcoming Louisville football season. I get it, people make lists all the time – so why is this one important?
Unlike other lists you’ll swipe through this week, we didn’t base ours off the typical metrics. Instead of ranking individual skill and talent, we decided to take a true team approach: A list based on a player’s impact on the team this season.
These 25 players are the catalysts that will determine how Louisville’s season goes – good or bad.
If Louisville shatters expectations and makes a bowl game in Satterfield’s first year?
These are the guys that made it possible.
If Louisville can’t figure it out and the team skids to another 2 or 3 win season?
These are the guys that could’ve made it possible.
I created the list based on only a few things:
The players that WILL impact this Louisville team, and the players that NEED to impact this Louisville team. Although they differ, both distinctions are equally important if Louisville has any chance at success this year.
Every player on this list is talented, but who is making the biggest impact this year?
Lets go.
sidenote – I finished the laundry (and the dishes)
