We’re less than 10 days away from the kick-off of the season for Louisville football. Our team gets you caught up on the summer that was and everything you need to know for the season ahead.

While I am writing this intro, there is a little over 24 hours to go before college football is officially back. I’m not sure about you, but to me, this has been easily one of the longest Louisville football offseasons that I can remember over the span of my fanhood.

Scott Satterfield and the new Louisville staff have been in place for eight months, working around the clock to get a program with a ton of promise back on track by creating a new “family atmosphere” culture on Floyd Street.

Unfortunately for Cards fans, it’s been almost a full calendar year since Louisville’s last win, and a full summer to think on a nine-game losing streak is like a nightmare that never ends.

The Cards open a brand new season hoping to conquer some of the demons from a season ago and get back to their winning ways in 2019.

However, in order for that to happen, a lot needs to change. In order to break down exactly what we are expecting this season, BRL’s site experts and contributors pitched in their thoughts on some of the burning questions entering one of the most unpredictable seasons in recent Louisville football history.
