Nashville

Good ol’ NashVILLE.

For months I had been looking forward to taking the two and half hour drive down south to Nashville and the trip didn’t fail.

Like always, Nashville was an amazing experience filled with great food, great company, great scenery, and a great win.

Despite it being 4,000 degrees at kick off (and really all throughout the game) every single second of the trip was fantastic, and one I’ll definitely be doing again in November.

To start, the food was out of this world.

Friday night, my buddies and I went to The Pharmacy, which I had always heard was home to some of the best burgers in Nashville.

Saturday morning for brunch was Skye Blue, which again, did not disappoint.

Instead of taking the tailgating route, we hit Broadway in the hours leading up to the game where we met numerous Louisville fans and saw probably 50-plus Bachelorette parties. Acme Feed + Seed provided a great atmosphere for football watching (and people watching as well) while our second stop at Headquarter Beercade provided great food, good beer, and of course plenty of arcade games.

The night ended at Nobles, where we watched the Gators come back and defeat Kentucky to dispair of plenty of Wildcat fans in attendance.

All in all, the trip was fantastic. Nashville is a great place to visit for a sporting event and I look forward to doing it all over again in November.
