Get Tutu Atwell involved early and often

There was one guy in Nashville this past weekend who was clearly the best player on the field. That guy was UofL sophomore wideout, Tutu Atwell. He caught four passes and three of those wants for touchdowns.

Anytime Atwell ended up with the ball, it seemed like the Louisville offense was at its best. They even involved him in the rushing attack, carrying the ball twice for 10 yards. When Tutu has the ball, whether it’s a shovel pass jet sweep or a 50-yard bomb, the Louisville offense just seems to be moving faster. The way Atwell can open the field and get to the edge is a luxury a lot of teams just don’t have. Now, all we need is more of it.

Atwell is as athletic as they come, we may even see him at quarterback at some point this season. His speed and versatility will be huge in helping to create confusion on the Florida State defense and open up the entire field for either Cunningham, Pass, or Conley.

Atwell already has four touchdowns in just three games. He’s emerged as the biggest big-play threat on this Louisville football team. Louisville will need him to find the end zone once or twice and to constantly be involved to get out of there with a win.
