Louisville football revealed its uniform combo for Saturday’s match-up against Florida State, and we are totally here for it.

Among the many things that the new Louisville football staff is doing right is consistent fan engagement.

From interactions with media and fans, being open and honest about the state of the program, doing unique things to make watching and coming to games more fun, to its consistent posts on social media.

In the past, the Louisville equipment staff has tried to get up a post some time the night before or early the day of the game to show what uniform combos they will be rolling out.

But, in case you haven’t picked up on it yet, Louisville has been revealing the uniform of the week every Thursday at 11:30 am.

It isn’t anything super important, but the uniforms you wear matter to the fans, the players, and the recruits, who love to see the newest and coolest uniforms. If you can get a recruit wanting to try on some Louisville swag, the idea of being a Cardinal is already planted in their mind.

Louisville will never be Ohio State, Alabama, or Penn State as far as culture and tradition, so why try to emulate their traditional uniforms? The Cards stand out with their Adidas swag.

Last week, we saw the reveal of some new lids that looked sweet with the road white and red pants.

This week, we get the same new lids with a twist.

It’s hard to beat the traditional road all whites, and with that new matte red finish on the helmets, the Cards are sure to stand out above the competition in week four.
