Louisville basketball: Who will be next 2020 commitment?
By Jacob Lane
After finally landing its first recruit of the 2020 class, who should Louisville basketball target next?
After waiting for longer than many expected, Louisville basketball finally landed their first commitment in the class of 2020.
With September’s schedule loaded with top talented visiting Louisville (or expected to at least), Louisville fans watched guys like DJ Steward, Caleb Love, and Zach Loveday announce (or expect to announce) their commitments to other programs, leaving Louisville commit-less on the month headed into Louisville Live.
But with some elite recruits on campus for the annual event, many hoped a commitment would come and that’s exactly what happened when the nation’s top JUCO prospect, Jay Scrubb, announced he’d be shutting his recruitment down and headed home.
Now with a four-star in the class (he should be a five-star if you ask me), Chris Mack and the Louisville basketball staff will turn their attention to their remaining targets in hopes of keeping the momentum rolling.
While Steward and Loveday have committed elsewhere and five-star guard Caleb Love has cut his list down to two, removing Louisville in the process, there is still plenty of talent left on the board for Louisville.
Who may commit next? Here are a few players I’m watching for Louisville and the percentage chances of them being the next to commit.
