Adam Miller – Shooting guard

Chicago, IL

Though we haven’t heard his name in quite some time, Adam Miller is still a guy that Louisville fans should keep on their radar. At least for now.

With all the hoopla surrounding Louisville Live and the commitment from Jay Scrubb, you may have missed the four-star guard cutting his list down to six and leaving Louisville in the mix.

The 6’3 guard out of Chicago has been a target for Mack and staff for quite some time now, and they seem to be in relatively good shape heading down the stretch of his recruitment.

Miller visited the program back in June and has remained in close contact with the staff even as they’ve worked to gain commitments from guys like Steward and Love.

The favorite seems to be Illinois, but that doesn’t mean things can’t change, as we’ve seen before. With Louisville having a big opening at the guard spot, and immediate playing time in 2020-2021, Miller could easily swing at the last second if he feels there’s a better opportunity for him at Louisville.

Though it seems unlikely that Miller would pick Louisville, his skill set fits exactly what Mack has traditionally looked for at the guard position in the past. At 6’3″ he has good height for the guard spot, and has great versatility on both offense and defense.

During the summer, Miller showed his ability to score the ball at an extremely high level, averaging over 20 points per game on the EYBL circuit and hitting 43 threes in 13 games, while averaging over four rebounds and nearly three assists per contest.

Chris Mack and staff will have to go all-in on Miller over the next few weeks as Miller posted on his Instagram that he’d be committing soon, leaving Louisville little time to catch up.

It’s not impossible, but it also isn’t likely. However, stranger things have happened.
