With just a few weeks remaining before the early signing period, Louisville football will look to close strong in the class of 2020. Here are four recruits we’re watching down the end of the season.

As things currently stand, Louisville football holds commitments from 24 players in the class of 2020 giving Scott Satterfield and his staff a top 30 class in their first season in town.

When the staff arrived at Louisville, things looked bleak on the recruiting front. Louisville was hemorrhaging commitments (and current players) from their 2019 class and had just a matter of days to try and assemble some semblance of a recruiting class before the Early Signing Period began.

Now with a little under a month before the Early Signing Period, which runs from December 18-20, Louisville has completely turned the tables and will look to put the finishing touches on what should be a top 35 class and top eight class within the ACC.

Not too shabby, huh?

After landing two commitments from players previously committed elsewhere in Christian Fitzpatrick (Washington State) and Jordan Watkins (Kentucky), Louisville and Scott Satterfield will look to keep the momentum as they try and wrap things up with a bang.

With Louisville sitting at 5-3 and an Orange Bowl bid being a real possibility, the rebuild won’t entail what we thought. Which means that Louisville will be able to be very selective in the players they target to fill the final four to five spots in the class of 2020.

Considering the needs the staff has, we take a look at four players who could be the “cherry on top” of an already incredible recruiting run in just their first year at Louisville.

Let’s get it going.
