Louisville can throw the tape out and bounce back strong

Even the best teams have games like Louisville had on Saturday. It seemed like nothing could go right from start to finish and that happens in college football. Louisville has now lost four games, to put them at 5-4 on the season. In the prior three losses, Louisville has bounced back immediately in their next appearance for a win. That’s what they’ll have to do again against North Carolina State this Saturday.

Every opponent has different strengths and weaknesses, Miami in hindsight is probably the third, maybe second-toughest team Louisville will play all year. The next three opponents, NC State, Syracuse, and Kentucky just don’t compare to what Miami rolls out there week to week.

Louisville’s goal going into this season is was to be competitive and to get to a bowl. After winning only twice last year, a bowl sounds like more than enough for Louisville fans. But we always want more, it’s in our blood. This game though is one to forget about.

It’s time to bounce back once again. NC State won at Cardinal Stadium last year 52-10. What a turnaround it could be if Louisville goes into Raleigh and leaves with a victory. There are still so many opportunities like that remaining for the Louisville Cardinals, let’s hope they take advantage.
