Louisville football was down early, but not out, as they rallied back to win their sixth game of the season, making them officially bowl eligible. We take a look at five players who shined in the Cards’ latest win.

After missing postseason football for the first time since 2009, Louisville football has found its way back to bowl eligibility after an absolute nightmare of a season last year.

The work that head coach Scott Satterfield and his staff have done in just one season at Louisville has been nothing short of amazing.

Most thought four wins would be the ceiling for this Cardinal football team, with two winnable games to go, the Cardinals are already at six.

It’s been a full team effort since we kicked off against Notre Dame on September 2nd. Satterfield has consistently preached that everyone matters and it’s easy to tell that these guys have completely bought in.

Tutu Atwell, Micale Cunningham, Russ Yeast, and so many others have made monumental year to year jumps. They’ve been an integral of this Louisville football team’s consistent success in 2019. So let’s talk about some of the players that got it done on Saturday in Raleigh.
