Louisville football: Three biggest storylines entering early signing period
Louisville football enters the early signing period gearing up for potentially one of the best classes in school history. Still, there are a ton of questions that will be answered come week’s end. Here are the three most pressing questions.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year again. Louisville football fans gather around social media, message boards, and everywhere they can get their hands on little tidbits of information in order to unwrap perhaps the most important gift of all: a big-time recruiting class.
Throw out the holidays- Since the new early signing period emerged in 2017, college football head coaches began changing up their recruiting tactics in order to try and secure the bulk of their classes in the new era of the Early Signing Period. And for fans around the country, many can celebrate or make peace with their newly minted freshman classes and begin to look forward to next season two months early.
For Louisville head coach Scott Satterfield and his staff, this means the potential of not only landing one of the best recruiting classes in school history but potentially bringing in some new studs early to be instant-impact contributors.
After redshirting all but one freshman from the 2019 class and landing two more that needed another year to qualify and then re-enroll, Louisville is looking to continue to build momentum off of an impressive 2019.
Still, there are a ton of questions that have largely gone unanswered leading up to the 2020 signing class.
Let’s address the top three storylines and what has lead to a bit of uncertainty in crunch time.
