It’s never too early to talk Louisville football. Here are five predictions for the Cardinals in 2020.

Louisville football is wrapping up the late signing period, meaning that aside from any late enrollees, we have a very good idea of what the Cardinals roster is going to look like in 2020.

That means that, although we are ways away from the upcoming college football season, we can finally start breaking down what Louisville football will have returning and where they will try to fill the gaps in the roster.

The Cardinals return with the vast majority of their coaching staff intact from an 8-5 2019 season, and the bulk of their offensive and defensive playmakers will remain on the 2020 roster.

That means that, although the bar was set extremely low prior to last season, expectations are still going to be taken up a notch.

That’s okay, though. Head coach Scott Satterfield and his staff came to Louisville for challenges just like the ones that this season will provide.

We’ve got a long way to go before the season, but here are five early predictions entering the 2020 Louisville football season.
