Louisville basketball will face their first ACC opponent for the second time as they travel to Atlanta to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

In an ACC season where teams have been unpredictable on a weekly basis, Louisville basketball‘s next opponent Georgia Tech has been a perfect example of the Jekyll and Hyde this season can provide.

The Yellow Jackets have dropped two games to Notre Dame and an early-season match-up to Ball State, but swept NC State and won at North Carolina.

If there’s one thing that’s consistent across the board, however, it’s that Georgia Tech has played good teams close, and its first match-up with Louisville was no exception.

Georgia Tech got out to a halftime lead and extended it to double-digits early in the second half before a run put Louisville way out in front. Still, the Yellow Jackets clawed their way back in during the waning seconds, sending Chris Mack and company home feeling like they had just taken a loss.

Still, a win is a win, and the Cardinals will be looking to secure their third season sweep on Wednesday night.

Let’s take a look at three bold predictions for the Cards vs. the Yellow Jackets.
