Louisville basketball: Three things we still love about 2020 Cards
It’s Valentine’s Day 2020, and in honor of their incredible season so far, we have three things to love about Louisville basketball.
It’s the day that people love or love to hate. But for Louisville basketball fans on Valentine’s Day 2020, there’s a ton to love regardless of your relationship status. I know it’s been a tough week after Louisville fell to Georgia Tech in such disappointing fashion, but true love often has a way of rebounding.
Louisville is off to one of the best starts in school history, reaching 20-wins faster than any Cardinal team in quite some time. Who wouldn’t love that? Behind stars Jordan Nwora and Steven Enoch and a cast of loveable guys like Dwayne Sutton, Fresh Kimble, Darius Perry, Malik Williams, and Ryan McMahon it’s easy to be about the Cards.
There’s been a lot of ups and downs during the 2019-20 season but what relationship doesn’t require a little TLC? Louisville’s journey may be different than what we thought we’d see (or maybe not) but on February 14th, the Cards have as good of a shot at a National Championship as anyone in the country. Doesn’t that make you happy?
However, we have three big things to love about 2020 and perhaps to appreciate for the rest of the season because we may never see a team or combination of players like this again.
So get your chocolate-covered strawberries, a glass of wine, and whatever makes you feel sexy and read up on our beloved Team 106.
