If you’re a Louisville basketball fan or sports fan in general, you have some time to kill. We are here to help.

Well, this is uncharted territory. Louisville basketball fans woke up Thursday morning expecting their days to finish by watching their Cardinals begin a postseason run, but will instead have to become acclimated with the high likelihood that they have seen their last game of the season.

It’s a tough pill to swallow. Given what this team and program as a whole have been through over the last five years, to see a veteran team that returned for one final shot at a national title not even get an opportunity is heartbreaking.

Obviously, there are a million other things to be concerned about. The safety of the student-athletes is, and will always be, the most important issue at hand. Our thoughts and prayers go out to any and everyone affected by COVID19.

With that said, the show goes on. And given the amount of free time a lot of us are going to have, I wanted to give everyone an opportunity to smile today and enjoy what March Madness is truly all about.

Let’s set the mood.

That’s better.

Over the course of the last few decades, Louisville basketball has given us fans a lot to cheer about. And what better way to remember them than to spend the next few days reliving some of our best postseason moments.

I sat down and chose the most re-watchable games in school history from each round of the tournament.

The best, most rewatchable game from the first round, the second round, and so on.

Keep in mind, these aren’t always the *best* games, and there’s only one choice per round. Instead, they are chosen for rewatchability. This means, if it happened prior to 1980, you’re probably not going to find a good version on the internet. It’s not for lack of acknowledgment, but rather entertainment purposes during the times ahead without any sports on the docket.

However, the result is a pretty fun way to spend the next few nights, navigating the ups and downs of the NCAA Tournament round by round in the most exciting match-ups.

There are some blowouts, there are some nail-biters, and there are some just flat out important games historically.

So, without further ado, let’s make the most of what will be an otherwise gloomy week of sports and review the most rewatchable games from each round of the NCAA Tournament.
