Jordan Lovett – S

Radcliff, KY

If there’s a darkhorse from the state of Kentucky that the Cards could land in the class of 2021, it may just be Jordan Lovett.

The 6’2″ 195-pound safety is an absolute ball magnet on defense, and his tape is extremely fun to watch.

Lovett led the state of Kentucky with fifteen interceptions in 2019, and his ability to high point the ball and create extra possessions for his team is something that the Louisville football coaching staff is going to be salivating over.

At this point, it appears that Kentucky, West Virginia, and Georgia Tech are among the frontrunners for Lovett, but the Cards are also a big-time threat to land his services. Lovett has taken visits to Louisville on multiple occasions unofficially, and the Cards are likely to receive one of his official visits whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Look for Louisville to remain involved and for them to go all-in to lock down Lovett as their ball-hawking safety of the future.
