As we say goodbye to one of the key players of Louisville Basketball for the last few years, let’s take a look back at some of Jordan Nwora’s biggest games at the University of Louisville.

Coming into the 2019-20 season, there was a lot of hype surrounding Louisville basketball’s returning star, Jordan Nwora. He certainly lived up to the hype, finishing the season being selected as a member of the first-team All-ACC, third-team All-American, and finishing as the runner up in voting for ACC player of the year.

Nwora was the team’s leading scorer this past season, and also finished as the second leading rebounder averaging nearly eight per game. In his junior season, the Buffalo native averaged 18 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 44% from the field.

In addition to personal success, Nwora led the Cards to a top 4 finish in the ACC. He helped lead the Cards to a 24-7 overall record and an impressive 15-5 conference record. There’s no denying Nwora played a huge role in the team’s overall success serving as one of the main leaders on the team.

Sure, Jordan had his ups and downs, but overall he had an impressive season that helped lead to accomplishments as a team as well as individually. It is a real shame we did not get to see him make a run in the NCAA tournament.

Jordan recently announced via twitter that he would be foregoing his senior season and entering the 2020 NBA Draft. Coach Mack took to twitter as well congratulating Nwora saying, “Happy for Jordan! Tremendous growth over his 3 years, and his college degree in hand to boot! Keep working J!!”

As Jordan prepares for the 2020 NBA Draft, let’s take a look back at some of his most impressive games of this last season.
