Florida State – January 4, 2020

The only reason this game is not higher on the list is because of the game’s unfortunate result. The Cards struggled in this game ultimately dropping a fairly important game early in ACC play. The game was tightly contested until the three minute mark in the first half when the Seminoles ended the half on a nine to two run. The Noles carried momentum over into the second half, eventually pulling away for to a 78-65 win over the Cards. D

Despite the loss, Nwora seemed to be the only Cardinal to show up, especially on the offensive end. He added 32 points along with ten rebounds. To put in in perspective, the only other Cardinal to break double digits was Steven Enoch, adding ten points.

Unfortunately, this exceptional effort from Nwora failed to lead to a Cardinal victory. Nwora shot an impressive 73.3 percent from the field, his personal best on the season. He was also deadly from three-point range, making five of his six attempts.

Nwora faced some criticism from fans and analysts alike for not showing up in big-time games, but he certainly came to play in this game. Unfortunately, he seemed to be the only one. Jordan’s exceptional game was muddied by a Cardinal loss at home, leaving a sour taste in the mouths of fans.
