Logan Diggs

6’0/195 lbs (Metairie, Louisiana)

The Cardinals have been attempting to pull recruits from the hotbed of Louisiana, the most recent being Logan Diggs. He ranks as the 13th prospect in the state (247Sports Composite) and the 33rd running back overall (484th overall in the nation). On April 18th, Diggs cut his list to ten (Nebraska, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Arizona, USC, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, and Louisville).

In a recent interview with 247Sports’ Cardinal Authority, he said

"“I’ve been communicating with the coaching staff for a week or two and I really feel like I can come in and be that guy and are extremely confident in me.”"

As a junior, he ran for 924 yards and five touchdowns to go along with 26 catches for 186 yards and four touchdowns.

Diggs is excellent at making guys miss due to his elusiveness, explosive burst, and instincts, Not only is he a huge threat on the ground, but he’s effective in the passing game and as a blocker. Diggs is a human highlight reel and would be a prime candidate for early playing time at Louisville.

It’s going to be a tough recruitment, but Louisville has plenty of playing time to offer. Recruits from Louisiana are known for their extreme toughness and speed; Diggs possesses both of those qualities.
