Who will be the next three commitments for Louisville football?

Louisville football picked up their 11th commitment and easily their most notable of the class of 2021 on Saturday when four-star outside linebacker Jaraye Williams pledged to Scott Satterfield and the Cards. With the latest commitment, Louisville now sits inside the top 30 in the national team rankings at 27 and currently holds the seventh-best class in the ACC.

We’ve detailed for weeks now how the 2021 class has the chance to be one of the best recruiting classes in program history, thanks to bringing in players like four-star safety Ben Perry, three-star defensive end Victoine Brown, and now Williams.

The staff has prioritized loading up on the defensive side of the ball, as eight of their first 11 commitments will play for defensive coordinator Bryan Brown.

Now, the question turns to how the Cardinals plan to finish out the remainder of the recruiting class.

We have detailed how defensive-oriented this class has been, and the coaching staff is probably going to stick to that theme going forward.

The Cardinals are stocking up on defensive linemen in this class and have landed a few versatile linebackers. But what about the secondary? That’s an area where Louisville lacks depth heading into 2020 and beyond. Additionally, will the Cardinals go after any offensive skill position players?

Let’s take a look at three players who could commit to the Cardinals sooner rather than later.
