Taylen Green

DUAL, 6’4, 194-pounds

One thing that all three of the quarterbacks on this list have in common is that they’ve all been extended official scholarship offers by the Louisville football staff. While Taylen Green does not hold that in common at this point, he is a player who people seem to be believe could be the next target of Scott Satterfield.

At 6’4, 194-pounds, Green has an elite mix of size and athleticism, being clocked officially at a 4.64 40-yard dash and posting a 38″ vertical. That mix makes him one of many quarterbacks who are rising from the state of Texas, and a player who could soon attract an offer from Louisville.

While no power five program has pulled the trigger just yet, Green does hold numerous offers from prominent mid-majors and has recently received interest from two of the states stop programs in TCU and Baylor.

In his first season as a starter at Lewisville High School, Green was sensational throwing for 2,217 yards and 25 touchdowns (to just three interceptions) and running for another 445 yards and 12 TD’s. while also thriving on the track, as a long jump and triple jump specialist.

Green’s recruitment is going to pick up once the top quarterbacks in the state of Texas officially come off the board, and I personally expect Louisville to get more involved. He’s a rising prospect who already ranks as the 24th best dual-threat QB according to 247 Sports and could be the most NFL likely prospect when it is all said and done.
