Timothy Lawson – OT

Like Kandra, it will be tough to crack into a starting lineup that will return three starters from a year ago, but there is opportunity. In the same depth chart, Lawson is set to backup redshirt freshman Renato Brown at the right tackle spot, and could have the potential to earn some playing time. Brown’s inexperience bodes well for Lawson’s chances to move into a starting role at some point, as it will be a very close competition. Also, don’t forget about JUCO product Trevor Reid, who could be a right tackle candidate when it’s all said and done.

Lawson bursts off the line of scrimmage with proficient speed and an effective point of attack and is another athlete who should  benefit mightily from Dwayne Ledford’s tutelage.  The 6-foot-5 tackle has upped his weight to around 290, and will continue to benefit from Louisville’s strength and conditioning program.
