Where does TJ Lewis fit on the Louisville roster?

Finally, the measure of the impact of Lewis’s commitment can perhaps best be felt by taking a look at what the Cardinals currently have on the roster.

When Lewis arrives on campus, this is the most likely depth chart scenario for Louisville football at quarterback.

Micale Cunningham- Senior

Evan Conley- Junior

OR

Tee Webb- Redshirt freshman

Upon Lewis’ arrival, he likely won’t be needed right away behind center for the Cards. However, you never know what could happen.

Maybe Cunningham bolts after the season in hopes of finding a spot on an NFL roster. Maybe there’s an injury that necessitates Lewis helping out right away.

Whatever the case, Louisville football projects to be squared away, but you never really know what variables could come into play in college football.

Like I spoke about with Bonnafon previously, there have been plenty of scenarios in the past where Louisville needed someone to step in in a pinch.

As of right now, Louisville seems to be building solid depth in its quarterback room. However, Lewis has the ability to come in and help out if the Cardinals truly need him.

In my estimation, Tee Webb is Louisville’s quarterback of the future whenever Cunningham’s career is over. That doesn’t mean that Lewis couldn’t be the guy to steal the show.

After all, plenty of three stars before him have done the same thing.
