Hunter Sallis – Combo guard

6’3, 165-pounds – Omaha, NE

There really isn’t much need to bring another guard into the fold for Louisville basketball in 2021 with Bobby Pettiford Jr and El Ellis already committed, but with his size and versatility, Hunter Sallis is still very much in play. At 6’3, Sallis is a dynamic combo guard who is capable of playing both on and off the ball and could even be a threat in a three guard lineup next to Pettiford and Ellis.

Louisville has been in for quite some time with Luke Murray as the primary recruiter, and as much as I think they’ve done a good job I just don’t see them bringing in another guard unless something happens with BPJ or Ellis.

Sallis is commanding interest from multiple top programs, including UNC, Gonzaga, and Kansas, and it’s very unlikely that he ends up at Louisville.
