Louisville struggled to put the Cavaliers away in this game, and they trailed in the fourth quarter in what seemed, on that day, like a victory just wasn’t in the cards. Pun very much intended.

In the final two minutes, Jackson was faced with the task of marching Louisville 75 yards for the winning score. It certainly didn’t seem likely this time, but then again, where there is a Lamar Jackson there is action.

With time ticking down, Lamar floated a pass to a streaking Jaylen Smith into a perfect location in the corner of the end zone for a touchdown with only 13 seconds remaining. It was a thing of unparalleled beauty.

That play vaulted Louisville to a 32-25 comeback road victory. Looking back on it now, this was more-than-likely the play that solidified Jackson winning the Heisman Trophy.
