How Louisville football knocks off no. 21 Pittsburgh.

Louisville football will be heading on the road for the first time this year after a tough loss in primetime to a very good Miami team. There are certainly no lack of tests on this schedule as the Cards will head to Heinz Field to face the Pittsburgh Panthers in another ACC showdown.

The Louisville offense and the Pitt offense are on a collision course for this Saturday at noon. The Panthers have only allowed 10 points total in two games this season while the Cardinals have racked up 69 points in two games including 34 against Miami’s defense.

The stars will be out when both of these units hit the field. Pitt’s defense boasts two preseason All ACC players in safety Paris Ford and edge rusher Patrick Jones II. Pitt’s starting center Jimmy Morrissey also made the list.

Jones II has half a sack on the year out of the team’s 10 total sacks in two games. Ford has two interceptions so far to go along with five total tackles.

Louisville was a mess on defense last week against the powerful Miami rushing attack. They will need to get that aspect fixed as the offense attempts to solve the Pitt defense.

With that said, what are three things Louisville can do throughout the game to secure a win against Pitt on Saturday?
