Find the weakness in Pittsburgh defense

It is extremely difficult to find an area where Pitt’s defense is deficient. They have high end talent and seemingly a very good all around defense they are building around.

Let us be honest here. Pitt has gone against Austin Peay and Syracuse in their first two games. Austin Peay is a bad FCS team and Syracuse looks about as bad as they come offensively in the country this year. They have as much to prove as (if not more than) Louisville heading into Week 3 of the season.

Despite giving up just 308 yards of offense total so far this year, the Pitt defense has given up two plays of 50+ yards. One in each game. While this does not seem like much (it’s not), it gives the Louisville offense something to go off of in their attack. Syracuse receiver Taj Harris ran by Pitt corner Jason Pinnock in their last matchup on a go route.

We will see if Satterfield and the offense can look to draw something up to get a speedy receiver like Tutu Atwell or Braden Smith can do on a deep route (perhaps against Pinnock).

While it remains to be seen if Pinnock is one to pick on for the Pittsburgh defense, one of the only explosive plays against their defense is certainly worthy of noting.
