Jacob Lane: Louisville football’s defense forces 2 or more turnovers

You probably want what I’m smoking right? Considering the fact that Louisville football has forced one turnovers and currently is in the middle of a five game interception drought, it may be a little overzealous to predict the Cards to force multiple turnovers.

However, after being utterly embarrassed on national television for the second year in a row, I expect Bryan Brown’s group to play with a laser focus and intensity that we haven’t seen yet this season.

Pittsburgh’s offense can be powerful if not defended carefully, and while they aren’t necessarily known for turning the football over I predict that the front four of Louisville will be able to get enough pressure on quarterback Kenny Pickett to force bad throws that result in multiple interceptions/fumbles.

Last week Louisville was extremely close to getting their first INT on a few different tipped passes, but never could get the positioning right. This week, I expect that to change; Louisville forces two or more turnovers, which helps play a role in picking up a victory.
