Renato Brown and Adonis Boone were nothing short of bad against Pittsburgh in week three. They were the most guilty culprits in the failure of Louisville’s offense in that matchup.

Boone is likely playing out of position at tackle instead of guard. However, he was dominated in a pure strength aspect by Patrick Jones and Rashad Weaver. Boone consistently was beat by the bull rush. Boone will need to do a much better job of anchoring against Georgia Tech to avoid giving up ground.

It is not all bad for the offensive line. Cole Bentley has been among the nation’s best offensive lineman, according to Pro Football Focus. Bentley has been playing strictly center this year after bouncing between guard and center in his first couple of years with the program.

With Robbie Bell also struggling, the team needs to find ways to put the offensive line in positions of success (especially if the group is a position of weakness).
