Tight Ends

Marshon Ford is a stud. That is the most important development here. Him and Atwell were the only players that were a serious threat through the air against Georgia Tech. Ford has made a big jump in the passing game too.

Ford has to go above and beyond to impress people based on the fact he is a former walk-on and a true sophomore at the position. I am prepared to say he is a top three or four player on offense pretty comfortably.

Ean Pfeifer had his worst game as a Cardinal. He dropped a crucial catch to grab early momentum that would have been a walk in touchdown. I also noticed him missing multiple blocking assignments on outside zone plays.

I do not want to bash this position group too hard because I think it is above average for an ACC offense. Ford is ridiculously good. But you need better than what you got from Pfeifer last night.
