Louisville basketball: Most important players for the 2020-21 season

Ah yes, “The Irish Hulk”. Perhaps the most-anticipated recruit in Mack’s tenure, Igiehon didn’t exactly burst into the scene last year, leaving many of us bewildered and curious as to what went wrong. Never fear. In all likelihood, he was just too far down the line to really grab the hyena’s share of minutes behind Williams and Ens
In off-season pictures, it’s clear that he hasn’t lost any of the mass that coined his nickname. Though there are other candidates for minutes down low in Williams’ absence, I don’t expect Mack to drown Igiehon on the bench.
Like I eluded to with Q, there will be ample opportunity for a Mack-sized type of guy to grab some minutes at the five this season. The thing about Aiden is that he possesses agility that most big men his size do not have in their arsenal, especially that young.
While most Louisville fans will be groaning about Igiehon being a potential bust, I simply don’t see that. He’s the bulkiest guy on the roster and Mack is going to push him to step up.
