Liam Eichenberg, OT (RS SR)

Eichenberg is one of the best offensive tackles in college football. He was ranked by Pro Football Focus as the highest graded offensive tackle in college football a few weeks ago. The Irish line as a whole was ranked as the best in the country through four weeks as well, according to PFF.

Eichenberg is a powerful presence that moves bodies at either tackle spots (right or left). As a redshirt senior, he’s as experienced as they come and he is very sound in his play. The Louisville defensive ends and outside linebackers will have their hands full against Eichenberg and an offensive line that Brian Kelly called “the best he’s coached in his career.”

The Louisville defensive ends have struggled mightily this year. This would be the time to show out above what their level of play has been so far this season. However, I would put those odds of showing out at very slim chances considering this is the best offensive line the Cardinals have faced this year and likely will be the best line they face in 2020.

Eichenberg went viral on social media for a horrendous looking black eye that he came back and played through after he was apparently poked through the facemask in the Florida State game.
