3 predictions for Louisville football vs. Notre Dame

Alan Thomas: Malik Cunningham combines for 4 or more total touchdowns
Much of the talk surrounding Louisville’s matchup with Notre Dame Saturday is whether or not quarterback Malik Cunningham will contribute.
Will Coach Satterfield have to pluck from the depth chart to replace him? I’m here to play devil’s advocate.
Last week against Georgia Tech, Cunningham threw for 229 yards and 2 touchdowns while also running a couple in. If you remember last year’s matchup with the Fighting Irish, then-starter Jawon “Puma” Pass looked fairly effective, especially early on.
Although Pass did not connect at a high percentage and did not throw for a touchdown, he did manage to sneak into the end zone on foot. Twice.
With Cunningham being a better thrower and a much more elusive runner, I can see a scenario where he rushes for a couple, dumps off one to go-to tight end Marshon Ford, and floats one to one of Louisville’s streaking athletic receivers. This is completely doable.
