Marvin Wilson, Defensive Tackle

Florida State defensive tackle Marvin Wilson is considered a lock as a top 10 pick in the 2021 NFL draft. Although he won’t stand out on a stat sheet, Wilson is a major disruptor on defense for the Seminoles.

The 6’5,” 305-pound senior is one of the top prospects that the Cardinals will face all season, and that’s because of his freakish athletic ability and excellent motor.

Wilson was credited for 6 total tackles and a QB hurry in the win over UNC and constantly stood out in FSU’s pass rush that generated four sacks and eight total tackles for loss.

To make matters more difficult for the Cardinals, they have struggled up front so far this season, particularly in the middle of the line where they will have to find an answer for Wilson.

La’Damien Webb, Running Back

Florida State’s big-time offensive weapon Tamorrion Terry suffered a knee injury in the first game of the season, and Norvell says that Terry will be back “soon.” However, given FSU’s upcoming bye week and Terry’s timetable post-surgery, it seems highly unlikely that Louisville will see him on Saturday.

The answer, outside of massive chunk plays that we talked about with Travis behind center, will be with running back La’Damien Webb.

The sophomore is coming off by far the best game of his career against UNC where he accounted for 109 yards on 12 carries.

On the season, the top 50 2020 JUCO product has three rushing touchdowns to his credit.

At 5’8,” 190-pounds, Webb will remind Louisville football fans a bit of their own Javian Hawkins. His speed and vision make him a dangerous weapon in the open field for the Seminoles.
