Emmette Page, Guard

Bio

Emmett Page is a 6’2″ junior from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. This is Page’s first year in the program after spending two seasons at Northeast Community College in Nebraska.

Page averaged 21.9 points per game for NCC during the 2019-2020 season. He finished 18th in all of the NJCAA in points per game.

While Page is a relative unknown to the Division I college basketball landscape, he was a star at the junior college level.

How he can hurt Louisville

This player is a bit of a shot in the dark. After Kuhlman and Newton, there seems to be some question as to how the rest of the starting lineup may take shape. If Page can come in and be a shot maker like he was in junior college, he could be an x-factor for the Aces.

Page is someone that has a ton of range and has true point guard abilities. Even if Page does not start in this game, do not be surprised if he is among the Aces’ leading scorers when the final buzzer sounds.

Once again, this is a player that the likes of Carlik Jones and David Johnson will be tasked with guarding in this game. True freshman Dre’ Davis will also likely be seeing playing time in this game and could be matching up with Evansville’s guards.

Look for Page to make an impact in this game at the offensive end of the floor.

Other players to watch:

G Samari Curtis, Sophomore

Curtis is a former four star recruit and is in his first year in the Evansville program.

G Thomasi Gilgeous-Alexander, RS Freshman

This name may sound familiar. Thomasi is the brother of former University of Kentucky star Shai who now plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA.

G Noah Frederking, Senior
