Jr. G Au’diese Toney

The 6’6″ lefty is one of the great high flyers in the ACC. The duo of Toney and Champagnie is one of the great athletic combinations in the country.

Au’diese Toney likes to get out in the open floor where he can utilize his speed and athleticism in transition to get to the rim. That is where he is most comfortable and showed that a lot in his sophomore year.

He has worked hard to improve his deep range shooting steadily increasing his percentages over three years and becoming more of an effective volume shooter from three. That added element makes Toney very dangerous.

This year, he has taken proper steps as a player after already being one of the athletic marvels in the league in 2019. If Louisville wants to win, finding a way to stop Toney from getting into the lane is going to be key.

In 2020, Toney has averaged 16.2 points, 5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.
