Louisville turns the ball over 15 or more times, still scores 80

The Cardinals currently average over 13 turnovers per game which puts them at right about average in Division I college basketball.

Boston College is an odd team in that they are fairly good at forcing turnovers against teams that face them. Teams Boston College has faced in 2020 have turned the ball over 15 times per game against them.

David Johnson – as talented as he is – has struggled with turnovers recently. His scoring skill masks a lot of the turnover woes, but he has 17 turnovers in his last three performances. Louisville needs him to be more careful with the basketball.

Boston College is just so bad on defense that despite turning teams over, they still have managed to be one of the worst scoring defenses in the entire country.

Louisville will likely win this game. If they do not, it might be time to consider what this team really is. The Cardinals are a team with plenty of gifted players offensively between Johnson, Carlik Jones, Sam Williamson, and more. The season is still young and turnovers are expected.

In this one, expect plenty of turnovers and lots of efficient shooting against a struggling Eagles defense.
