Louisville football’s 2021 recruiting class is starting to make their way to campus this weekend.

The Louisville football program has welcomed in 24 new signees within the past month including 21 high school recruits and three transfers to fill out the 2021 class.

While most high school seniors would be gearing up for the last half of their final year in grade school, many football players are headed to campus to try and put their claim in for playing time very early on.

This weekend, Louisville’s early enrollees will be arriving to campus and enrolling in to the university at their new home. While there are no official numbers. We can break down which of Louisville’s Class of 2021 signees will be making it to campus this month to begin their careers.

Early enrollees (via 247 Sports)

LB/S Benjamin Perry

RB Trevion Cooley

S Bralyn Oliver

WR Ahmari Huggins-Bruce

OG Michael Gonzalez

CB Kani Walker

S/LB TJ Quinn

CB Derrick Edwards

EDGE Ashton Gillotte

ATH Shai Werts (Georgia Southern)

WR Demetrius Cannon

**Cannon is not listed on 247 Sports as an early enrollee, but his Twitter account suggests he will be enrolling soon.

That list includes six out of the top seven highest rated players in the class for the Cardinals and 11 total players that will have the opportunity to get in the training rooms and begin to learn the playbook which are two of the most important things for freshmen to do early on.

You can almost guarantee that if any newcomers are going to garner playing time in year one, it will be one of the players listed above simply due to freshmen being comfortable with the playbook and having college-ready bodies to put to the test on the field.

Louisville will have nearly half of their class enrolled as early as next week which is nothing but a good sign for Scott Satterfield and the rest of the staff to get eyes on the new guys.

Look for Benjamin Perry and Trevion Cooley to lead the pack early on. Those are two players that should be instant impacts and set the tone. The expectation should be that Perry and Cooley play right away while any other significant contributors from game one would be a cherry on top.

The Class of 2021 is officially home.
