Week 8 – @ NC State

Date of game: Oct. 30

2020 record: 8-4

Best win: Pittsburgh

Key losses: TE Cary Angeline, DL Alim McNeill

Key returners: RB Zonovan Knight, WR Emeka Emezie, DL Daniel Joseph, LB Payton Wilson, DB Shyheim Battle

Coach: Dave Doeren

The skinny: Once again, it’s another team returning a ton of talent. Knight and Emezie are now dangerous veterans. Meanwhile, the loss of McNeill is a big deal, but the Wolfpack returns almost everyone off a 2020 team that went 8-4. NC State’s veterans and overall talent win out in this game. This stretch is really tough for Louisville.
